Adding the Facebook Pixel to Your Website

GoalAdd the Facebook pixel to your website.

Ideal Result : The Facebook pixel is correctly deployed without any technical problems.

Requirements: You may only do this after setting up Google Tag Manager on your website. Additionally, you have to have already created a Facebook Ads Account using Business Manager (blog 010).

Why it is significant: If you wish to use Facebook advertising, Facebook Pixel is necessary. You can set up conversions for your campaigns and establish remarketing audiences using this pixel.

Note: If you are using Shopify, follow blog 068 – How to Add a Facebook Pixel to a Shopify Store instead of this blog.

Where this is done: In your Facebook Ads management and Google Tag Manager.

When this is completed: Just once, during the initial installation of the Facebook pixel.

Who is responsible for this: The person in charge of paid advertising, analytics, or website administration.
